Stripes for Spring

Adding stripes to your ensemble is a super stylish and sophisticated way of breaking up a monochromatic palette. They can add so much depth and dimension to an otherwise bland ensemble with just a few extra lines. For such a simple pattern, stripes can look so interesting and elegant.

I especially like thick white and navy stripes for spring because they make for such a fresh, nautical look. Another one of my favourite patterns is seersucker; it also has a super cool, nautical look, which is so perfect for the warmer weather. Whenever I see blue and white stripes I always think of a gorgeous day on the water, cruising in a sailboat. The colours alone are super soothing and relaxing to look at.

There are tons of ways to incorporate the pattern into your wardrobe. If you’re going for a more subtle look, even just a striped clutch or a seersucker top would do the trick. Or, if you’re really looking to make a statement, you could wear a thickly striped bell skirt with a neutral top. There are so many stylish and on-trend options.

To get you thinking about how you can incorporate stripes into your wardrobe, I’ve compiled a list of 10 striped items I think you’ll love for spring! Check out the gallery below to see my top picks.
