Today I went to Oshawa, Ontario to visit my grandparents. I had such a lovely day hanging out in the quiet countryside – sometimes a simple change of scenery can be so relaxing and refreshing. Plus, the weather was absolutely gorgeous – perfectly sunny and breezy with a dazzling, deep blue sky. I can’t get enough of spring!
I decided to wear one of my favourite bohemian dresses because I just feel so comfortable and stylish in it. I think midi length dresses are so feminine and elegant.
I just adore the light pink embroidery and the lace hems on this frock – they make for such a folksy, rustic look. The neckline is also super interesting and flattering.
I styled this dress with a bunch of stacked gold bangles, a gold ring and my distressed Frye boots. (I think these bracelets have such a cool, gypsy aesthetic – plus they make a lovely jingly noise when I move! I am very easily amused). Finally, I added my fun new Twiggy shades for a pop of pink to bring out the design of the dress.
This dress can really be dressed up or down, depending on the occasion. Today I dressed it down for a casual, daytime look, but I’ve also worn it with nude pumps for a fancy party. Versatile, wearable pieces are my jam!
