Free People Ever After Favourites

20150528062850Lately I’ve been dreaming about having two separate weddings. One would be a traditional, classic celebration full of lace, pearls and long sleeves and the other would be for letting loose and sporting the most gorgeous boho apparel.

There’s something so effortless and stunning about a bride dressed up in bohemian, laid-back garb. I love natural-looking ensembles and earth-inspired details for weddings because they remind me of a celebration among woodland fairies or a whimsical party from bygone times. All the magic of weddings is perfectly encapsulated in a bohemian bridal look.

And the best part is that this type of look is super easy to achieve! A long, flowy dress with kimono sleeves and dainty lace details looks simply divine as a gown. Add a floral crown and some long waves interspersed with braids and there you have it – a drop dead gorgeous wedding look you can feel breezy and comfortable in.

When Free People released their bridal line, Ever After, I got so excited because a) they’re one of my favourite brands and b) I go crazy over bridal looks and trends (as you can tell if you follow along with my blog).

And the collection did not disappoint! I fell in love with almost every piece. It’s crazy how beautiful things can transport you to another time and place – just by looking at the gorgeous items from the collection I was catapulted into a magical fairy wedding in an exotic and mystical locale.

I chose a few favourites from Ever After (which, believe me, was next to impossible!) and I’ve gathered them into the gallery below. Take a peek at it to get your fill of beauty for the day! Let me know which piece you like best in the comments below.
