Having trouble sleeping? Try these stylish blackout curtains!

Henna-Blackout-Curtain-Panel-b3e5b6e4-63f0-4e71-884c-3b94c4e2437bWith summer coming, the days are getting longer and the sun is shining brighter. With all that daylight, sometimes it can be difficult to sleep in past the break of dawn – and there’s nothing worse than being woken up by the sun on what should be a lazy Sunday!

Luckily, there’s a super easy solution for that. Blackout curtains are so effective when it comes to blocking out unnecessary daylight and extending your zzz time.

Plus, they come in so many gorgeous colours, patterns and materials, making it so easy to customize them to fit your own unique personal style. Blackout curtains don’t have to be black to keep your room dark and peaceful during the day – any colour of your choice will do!

If your room is a relaxing, ocean-themed hideaway, pale blue or navy would be a gorgeous colour for your blackout curtains. Or, go neutral with a calming beige or off-white hue. You could also make a statement with edgy and bold black or striking red – the options are truly endless!

Personally, I’m loving the quintessentially British florals and soft pastels in the blackout curtains at Yorkshire Linen. I think they make the perfect addition to a charming bedroom haven or a shabby-chic sanctuary. When it comes to bedroom decor, anything soft, feminine and quaint is always my go-to.

The days of boring, uninspired blackout curtains are gone. Getting more sleep can be so stylish!
