What I Wore Wednesday: Feminine Corset Dress

IMG_6575Today’s #whatiworewednesday is super feminine, flattering and floral! I adore this dress for so many reasons.

First of all, I love the waist-cinching corset top and flared bottom. It reminds me of the things women used to wear in Victorian times!

I also love its floral print. It’s so colourful yet small and dainty!

This dress is perfect for a warm day in June or a garden tea party. It’s so full of feminine touches and old-world-charm, which is so refreshing in a world full of minimalism and boyfriend jeans (not that I don’t love me some baggy comfies!).

Believe it or not, I bought this dress at Pink in Miami literally years ago. The store used to carry tons of gorgeous, casual dresses but recently they’ve moved towards athletic gear and beach wear. I’m so glad I held onto this dress for so many years because while it’s old, its shape and pattern make it so timeless! (For the record, I still love Pink!).

I felt like this dress called for shoes that were a little higher than my usual flat sandals, so I threw on these super comfy brown leather wedges.
