Summer DIY: Adorable miniature fairy garden

Like most people, I just can’t get enough of all things miniature. Dogs, potted plants and tacos are all better small in my books, so you can imagine why my obsession with fairy gardens is so strong.

I just think they’re the cutest darn things ever, and they’re so easy to make, too! All it takes is a few pieces, some plants and a green thumb or two.

I started mine off with a lovely, mid-sized bowl. I love the forest green colour of the one I used because I feel like it really blends in with the rest of the garden and it seems super fitting for a fairy home.

Next, I filled the pot up with dirt and mulch to give the garden a base. The mulch added another dimension of texture and made it look more authentic.

I placed my fairy garden beside my larger garden to make it blend in as the perfect home for the little guys! What do you guys think of this DIY? Let me know in the comments!
