What I Wore Wednesday: Grey Jumpsuit

Today was absolutely scorching here in Toronto! When the humidity began to seep into my window this morning as early as 7am, I knew I would have to wear something breezy but also classy and elegant.

I chose this grey pantsuit romper from Aritzia because while it’s so lightweight, it also makes for a super put-together look. This piece is great for summer because it’s lightweight and easy but also so versatile. I’ve worn it to work, to fancier events with heels and to a casual dinner with friends. It’s also SUPER comfortable and kind of feels like pajamas (my favourite thing to wear!).

I paired it with my denim vest which is also from Aritzia. This vest has been (surprisingly) such a staple in my summer wardrobe this year. It comes in so clutch when I want to wear something strapless or sleeveless but still feel like my outfit is missing something or is showing too much skin for the occasion. Being denim, it really goes with everything and adds a little more structure to any ensemble.

I added some bronzed, gypsy-inspired accessories like my layered necklaces, a Quartz pendant and of course my gladiator sandals. I like how the accessories balance out the structured, neutral palette of grey and white.

This outfit is perfect for this unbearably hot summer day. Admittedly, I can’t wait for the scarves, sweaters and layers of the fall season!

What do you like to wear on super hot days? Let me know in the comments!
