Five ways to incorporate lavender into your wellness routine

LavenderThis past weekend I visited Bleu Lavande, a magical lavender farm in rural Quebec. I always love visiting the farm because of its relaxing, soothing vibe and amazing gift shop (I’ll admit it, the gift shop is my favourite part of most places!).

The amazing products at the shop got me thinking of all the wonderful uses that come with the flower. Whether it’s through essential oils or tea, there are truly endless ways to incorporate it into your daily routine and amp up your wellness game.

With its relaxing vibe and gorgeous fragrance, why not use lavender as often as possible? Check out my list of five unexpected ways to use it every day to increase your wellbeing:

1. Essential oils

I’ve been wanting to start experimenting with essential flower oils for a while, and lavender seems like a great place to start. Dab a few drops on your wrist and smell it throughout the day to keep calm, cool and collected.

2. Linen spray

Lavender linen spray is such a dream — I’m always using it on my sheets and blankets to keep them smelling fresh and yummy.

3. Pillow spray

Similar to linen spray, pillow spray is such a lovely way to enhance your sleep experience. Just a few spritzes on your pillow and you’ll be asleep in no time.

4. Lip balm

Another thing I bought from Bleu Lavande is lavender lip balm. It feels so smooth and buttery on my lips and smells amazing — the perfect afternoon pick me up!

5. Room spray

There’s no better way to infuse your space with a lovely, calming vibe than with some lavender room spray. Spritz a few drops around your living room before guests come over and they’ll never want to leave (which could actually be a bad thing — depending on how you feel about your guests!)

I can’t get enough of lavender! I would love to start my own farm one day.
