London Part Two

With only a three days’ stop in London, we knew we had to make the most of this beautiful city. As a result, I think we’ve walked more than any tourist ever has before in such a short amount of time, and I have the blisters to prove it.
Luckily, the city has an amazing transport system, which made it pretty painless to get around. We made it to the Victoria and Albert museum, Buckingham Palace, the National Portrait Gallery, Trafalgar Square, Piccadilly Circus, Big Ben, St. Paul’s Cathedral, Tower Bridge and more! Today we rounded out our last day with a picnic in lovely Kensington Gardens. Check out some pics below:

Everywhere you look in Trafalgar Square there’s another beautiful building that looks like it belongs in heaven. Even with the pigeons, it’s truly spectacular.

You could literally spend years and years looking at all the priceless art pieces in London. It was so fascinating to take a peek at the works of legendary artists like Turner and Titian at the National Portrait Gallery.

Visiting Fortnums is always one of my favourite parts of a trip to London. Everything in the store is immaculate and so quintessentially British, and the Alice in Wonderland windows they’re showing right now are just dreamy!

It was so much fun cruising through Liberty’s department store and Carnaby Street, an area that’s closed off for shopping and patio drinking. These flowers looked so beautiful outside the old building (it opened in 1875!).

Tower Bridge. We took the wrong bus on our way to Harrod’s but we got to see this lovely pink door so it was okay! We stocked up on goodies from Harrod’s and Whole Foods and had a picnic on the lawn outside Kensington Palace. It was so lovely and picturesque!

London is such a special city, and I know it’s not goodbye forever. Next stop, Paris!
