Book Review: Earth Angel Realms by Doreen Virtue

I’ve been a huge fan of Doreen Virtue’s for years now. Every time I read one of her books, I feel so much wisdom and positivity pouring through the pages, and I can’t help but smile at her words.

Her writing style is clear as a bell, so it’s easy for anyone to understand the complex subjects she writes about, but more than that, she really breaks everything down so even the most non-spiritually minded person can understand.

I’ve read tons of her books, but the one I picked up most recently is all about finding your personal Earth Angel realm, which basically refers to the realm you lived in before you were born into a human body. Each chapter is broken down by the realms of incarnated magical creatures from elementals to angels to star people.

Reading about the different characteristics of the realms and the types of people that fall into each one was so enlightening. While reading, I was able to pin point which realm my friends and family all fell into just by their personality and physical traits.

For example, I think my sister was a Star Person in her past life because she’s super smart, quiet and reserved and tall and thin, and as soon as I read the section on incarnated cherubs, I KNEW it was about my Mom. She loves all things gold and gilded, has an obsession with interior decorating and shopping, and is super into the way things look and makeup.

Personally, I think I fall into the incarnated elemental category. I have auburn in my hair, I love nature and animals, and I love to cause mischief, not to mention my lifelong obsession with fairies! I think I may also have a bit of mermaid and unicorn in me because I love the ocean, and I’ve always been a total free spirit. There are so many other realms and creatures you may belong to, and it’s so fun to read about each one.

As Picasso said, “everything you can imagine is real.” I firmly believe this! The universe is infinite, and there are parallel realities and dimensions on other planes where different beings and creatures exist, so you have no reason to lose hope or stop believing in yourself because everything and anything is possible. Doreen’s book served as confirmation that there’s so much more to this world than meets the eye, and all we have to do is open our eyes to the magic.

What realm do you feel you belong to?  Let me know in the comments below!
