Rome Part Two

Rome is such a beautiful city with so much to offer, but during our stay, we were content to just hang out on patios or in the park. The weather was beautiful, and there was so much culture, nature and history to soak up right outside our front door. It was so much fun getting a feel for all the vibrant colours, sights and tastes (this one especially!) of Rome — even if we were just here for a couple of days. Check out my favourite photos below for a snippet of our stay:

We probably spent the majority of our time in Rome strolling around Villa Borghese Gardens. It’s a beautiful green space dotted with fountains, sculptures, museums and more right in the heart of the city! I love how the vegetation here is so different from back home: cypress trees, stone pines and orange trees are a few of my faves.

Stopped in at the National Gallery of Ancient Art to snap a few photos (by that point we had had our fill of museum tours and just wanted to hang out around some pretty architecture!).
We spent our last night in Rome checking out the coliseum at dusk and gorging ourselves on gelato! I got coconut and Ferrero Rocher flavour and Geoff got chocolate and Nutella.

Thanks for having us Rome! Now for some rest and relaxation by the ocean. Stay tuned on social media to see where we go next!
